Fan Mail Over the years, I have received cards and letters from the loving families that have purchased Golden pups from me. There’s nothing more rewarding than to get these wonderful notes and pictures and I would love to share them here. Please browse and enjoy these great pictures and stories. Autumn
Just wanted to let you know Autumn is doing great. She now walks along side of me so nice. She’s beautiful and I love her so to death. I’m only gone 3 ½ hours in the mornings and my neighbor comes and walks her. He also loves her, but then again, everyone does. She’s done wonders for me. She and I are truly blessed. Love, Autumn Breeze and Barbara Goldie
Enclosed is a picture of our beautiful Goldie. She is an amazing dog. Everyone at the park loves her. She’s everyone’s pet in the summer. Goldie is so smart, it’s almost unbelievable. Goldie graduated second in her obedience class of 12. She got 180 points out of 200! In the group exercises, on the last one, the "down", she wasn’t comfy, so she readjusted and laid sown a different way, so she got docked her 20 points there. Happy Holiday, Gladys and Don Gage
Thought you might be interested to know that Gage took first place in dog obedience school with 26 other dogs last night. We were very proud of him. He is a great dog and he is very beautiful; so beautiful that people always refer to him as "she". He is a great dog and we love him very much! He truly has his moments as a pup, but he is maturing beautifully. He is a relentless ball retriever. He is very expressive, a speaker, and lets you know what he wants when he wants it. He is John’s shadow. His favorite thing to do is chase his ball when we throw it with the Chuck-It. He loves the water and takes flying leaps off the dock to fetch his ball. He has grown up to be a terrific dog. He is very lean and fit and has remarkable stamina. He is very obedient yet spoiled and he knows it. He loves to cuddle and loves to hunt and has become a great hunter. Everyone who meets Gage loves him and he loves everyone he meets. Well, I guess you get the message that we are very pleased with Gage!! Thanks again for him, Jerri and John Maddy
Maddy is a terrific pup. Loves the family and everyone else, too! She jumped into the UPS truck three times before the driver finally coaxed her out! She wants to play with every dog, rabbit, cat she encounters. Thank you for your caring start. Bob and Marna Windsor and Amber

Windsor is very friendly, a cuddler, very talkative. He actually started to howl one morning when Brian went deer hunting and he didn’t get to go along. Amber is a little dickens. She will do things that she knows she’s not supposed to do and Windsor will look at us like, why can she do that and I can’t? Too funny. She definitely rules him. We love them both and they are great with the kids. Windsor loves to go hunting, but Amber thinks its just playtime! Happy Holidays, Ros, Brian, kids and dogs! Polaris
Polaris is very playful. She has a sweet personality, likes to be with the family. She’s shy, not a very good watchdog. She hides behind you and she loves to play tug-o-war! Kelsie Rosie
Rosie is doing great. She is the sweetest puppy I’ve ever been around. She loves to visit with the neighbor’s dog, Shadow (a Golden/Samoyed mix) who she can peak at and nuzzle through the fence. Rosie is great with the kids and they love her. Rosie is an extremely gentle dog and very affectionate. People often comment on how beautiful a dog she is – perfect weight and height and a gorgeous coat – very light colored. Rosie’s other talent is agility. We would like to agility train her eventually. She jumps like a gazelle and quickly learned to clear our fence! Hence, she now has an outdoor kennel when needed. Sheryl Congratulations, Elise! Eh? congratulates 9-year-old Elise of Duluth. The third-grader won honorable mention in the nationwide “I Love Animals” writing contest sponsored by Reading Is Fundamental. Kids ages 5 to 15 were invited to write essays or poems describing their love for animals. More than 1,100 children entered the contest. Here is her essay, titled “Rosie”: “My hand is touching the softest and smoothest thing ever. Striking through golden beauty. It is my dog’s fur. It is my dog. Golden hair, black wet nose, and a tail that sways in the wind. It is not the beauty I love. It is how she loves me. One little lick and it’s the warmest thing ever. “Fetch!” I yell. She runs like the wind with her mind on the ball, tail swaying, and hair blowing back with great force. She runs back so fast that I cannot see her. We go inside to get a treat. I feed her one. While she chews, I look at her eyes, brown like a maple valley. Again, I pet her. She is Rosie. A golden retriever. My golden retriever named Rosie.” Chloe Chloe is such a sweetie – great temperament. We are so glad she’s a part of our family. Carol, Peter and Nick Scout

Annie's 2006 Litter
Cedar
Cedar is doing very well. He is such a happy, silly dog. He is very friendly and greets everybody like a long lost friend. Despite his playfulness, he is definitely not hyper. People often comment how calm and well behaved he is for a young dog. He likes to play outside and wrestle with our other dog. He also loves playing fetch and took to the water like a duck when we took him swimming. All in all, he is a pleasure to have around. Emily Hogan
Hogan is doing really well; spoiled rotten! He's a good boy though! He loves the outside, he loves his grandma and grandpa too and all his cousins (human). He really is a good boy. We've brought him to the dog park and he loves it!! He gets to play with other dogs and he plays well with them, so that's good. Hoagie is a big baby and spoiled rotten. Heather Miss Ellie Marie
Ellie is lovable, full of energy, playful, fearless, and holds a special place in our family. Her sister is Sadie and they get along beautifully. Ellie enjoys the water, our cabin, hikes in the woods, fetching her sticks/frisbees and loves to sit in your lap. Ellie loves to run through every puddle, no matter how dirty it may be. She is truly a bundle of joy and we count our blessings every day that we have her and Sadie. Kim |
